A unique space Gallery 2 Sun offers dynamic shows of local fine art. Housed beneath the lovely gaze of one of Tucson's most iconic murals we have a mandate to keep things interesting. In the 101 year old Warehouse and Transfer Building we are pleased to be a catalyst for the Tucson arts scene. The thrills come by inviting exciting artists with a local influence and curating exhibits to coincide with all that is vibrant.
We are in good company in a row of galleries and help anchor a renewed sophistication in the arts district and the gateway to downtown.
Our goal is to continue to establish Tucson's fine artists as noteworthy and perpetuate our lovely city's reputation for uniqueness.
The Tucson Warehouse and Transfer Studios is unique. Historic and iconic the edifice was built in 1918 as Tucson's first fireproof building. Designed by Curlett & Sons - the same folks who would later do Hotel Congress the building has a legacy of storing new comers valuables right off of the train. Now, 101 years later, it is home to this one-of-a-kind art gallery, a co-working space and Benjamin Supply a showroom for distinctive plumbing fixtures.
A unique history of securing treasures for the awaiting
homes of our ever blossoming city.
